Sadhugram is the temporary township being developed in the Tapovan area of Nashik to house akhadas, sadhus, and their followers during the Simhastha period - this is separate from general pilgrim accommodation. As of mid-2026, the Maharashtra government had sanctioned funds to acquire about 191 acres for this purpose, and akhada representatives have asked for the area to be expanded to more than 1,200 acres to accommodate everyone comfortably. Visitors planning to stay near akhada camps should expect this area to be reserved primarily for religious orders rather than general public accommodation, with access likely managed separately.
